My 19th heART piece evolved from allowing green and blue watercolor paint run down the edges of the paper. I worked with very wet pigment as I manipulated the paint around the edge of this piece. Some of the paint puddled in the top central part of this, so it became a heart. The watercolor paint runs took on the appearance of jungle vines; therefore, I developed the these to give them a bit more depth. The effect is a heart entangled in clinging vines of a jungle.
This piece is entitled: Jungle Love
Medium: Watercolor on 140 lb. cold press paper. 6 x 4 inches. Scanned and then digitally framed.
