For my 4th heART in February, I started using blue and purple watercolor paints creating a very wet heart and background. I removed some of the pigment from the center of the heart and allowed the piece to dry. Then I played with yellows and oranges – contrasting, complimentary colors. I moved the paint around with compressed air in the process…layer upon layer. The end effect was an erupting heart.
This piece is entitled: Erupting Heart
