ICAD #27 and #28

The prompt that I used for the Index Card A Day challenge (day 27) was “Use A Fortune From a Fortune Cookie”. I decided to create this card with mostly fortunes from fortune cookies literally in a collage. I added stamps, ink, acrylic paint and liquid medium for that glossy look. Although this piece is very experimental and I had no idea how it would turn out, I feel it came out rather eye-pleasing with all the smears, smudges, colors and textures that the materials gave.

The prompt that I used for the Index Card A Day challenge (day 28) was “Document A Moment In Words”. This index card was created by gluing down a piece of leftover scrapbook paper that had been patterned with orange water-based ink. Then I used a hot pink and black Sharpie marker for the words and to embellish and doodle for a bit for interest.
