ICAD #13

The prompt that I used for the Index Card A Day challenge (day 13) is “Experiment”. I used Crayola oil pastels (reds, oranges and yellows) and I covered the index card. Then, I experimented. I put white acrylic paint (Liquitex heavy body) over it. With a paper clip  bent into a scraping instrument, I scratched out my art image today. I added a little black acrylic paint to create the eye pupil. The number thirteen is done digitally as I stenciled 12 by mistake. I did not realize it until after I scanned my index card to post here. Ah, the magic of digital art. 🙂
