Face 15 is a sketch of a man’s face, which is created using mostly a woodless graphite pencil (8b) and a paper stump. I did a few of the details with a standard pencil (#2 hb), an extra fine point black Sharpie marker and a touch of white with a gel pen. I did not using any images for a reference. I just let my hand guide my eye…and then my eyes guided hand. They took turns as I just allowed the flow of creativity to run its course into my art journal.
